I'm currently debating which would be better for my 5 year old.
Cheerleading is closer to the home, but Gymnastics is cheaper.
Gymnastics doesn't include cheerleading, but cheerleading probably includes gymnastics.
So, I'm asking the readers what they are voting for. Send me your comments. Thanks!

My 8 year old has done both. Maybe you should check out the quality of both things before you enroll her. Cheerleading is right here in our hometown, however they do not do alot with it. We only have to pay for the uniform. It was mostly chants and jumping. She now does gymnastics about 20 miles away and it's worth it. They do ALOT more. I don't care if the cheerleading was basically free, she didn't learn alot and it was right in town. I just suggest checking out what she will learn. Are there other moms you could talk to that their girls have taken one of them?
